Spooky World has dated its bonfire for 5 and 6 November at £14, joining Thelwall, Gulliver's World and Partridge Lakes. The Halliwell Jones date is not out.
Bonfire night 2026 falls on Thursday 5 November. Four displays in the borough now have a published 2026 date: Gulliver’s World, Partridge Lakes, Thelwall and Spooky World. The one most people in Warrington actually go to, at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, still does not.
Updated 4 October: Spooky World has put its bonfire nights on sale for Thursday 5 and Friday 6 November, fireworks at 7.45pm, £14 for the bonfire only. The Halliwell Jones and Lymm Round Table dates are still not out.
Updated 29 September: Thelwall has confirmed Saturday 7 November with higher gate prices, High Legh Park has dated its display for Friday 6 November, and the Cheshire Showground gates now open at 4.30pm.
Warrington Borough Council does not run a public fireworks display. Its events calendar currently lists no events at all. Every display below is run by a business, a club or a parish.

Gulliver’s World, Saturday 7 November
Gulliver’s has the firmest booking. Its own event page says the theme park runs extended hours of 12pm to 8pm that day, that selected rides and attractions stay open until 7.30pm, and that the fireworks go up at approximately 8pm on Saturday 7 November only. The display is described as free, meaning it is included with theme park entry rather than sold separately. (Gulliver’s World)
The park adds its own caveat, in its words: “fireworks shows may be subject to modification or cancellation without prior notice, particularly in the case of severe weather conditions.”

Partridge Lakes, Culcheth, three nights
Partridge Lakes at Glaziers Lane, Culcheth, WA3 4AQ has confirmed Thursday 5, Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November 2026, entry from 5pm, display at 7pm, over the Gold Lake for the first time. (Partridge Lakes)
Two things about this one are worth knowing before you plan around it.
First, it is deliberately not a loud display. The venue redesigned the event into a “Laser Light Show & Low Noise Firework Display synchronised to music”, and says plainly that this was to avoid disturbing neighbours in a semi-rural area and to make it suitable for pets and young children. If you want big bangs, this is not the one.
Second, tickets are not on sale yet. The page carries a mailing list signup rather than a booking link, and the venue says previous years sold out “in less than an hour for all three evenings”. A child ticket covers anyone under 16 and all tickets are non-refundable.
Thelwall, Saturday 7 November
Thelwall’s organisers have published their date: Saturday 7 November 2026 on Chaigeley Field. Doors open at 5pm, children’s rides start at 5.30pm, the bonfire is lit at 6pm and the family friendly fireworks go up at 6.45pm. Admission is £13 adults, £8 children and concessions, £35 a family, each £1 or more up on 2025’s £12, £7 and £30. (Thelwall community site)
Tickets are sold on the gate. The listing on lymm.uk adds the parish’s usual warnings: parking is limited, cars left unsafely on surrounding roads may be ticketed, and you should not bring your own fireworks or sparklers. (lymm.uk)
That puts Thelwall on the same night as Gulliver’s World and the last of the Partridge Lakes nights, not a week earlier as it was in 2025.
Halliwell Jones Stadium: not announced
The biggest display in Warrington is normally the Warrington Wolves fireworks night at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, Mike Gregory Way, WA2 7NE. There is no 2026 announcement. The club’s events feed, checked again on 4 October, has published nothing about fireworks since 1 October 2025. (Warrington Wolves)
What that 2025 listing said is a fair guide to what to expect, and to the timings and prices:

- Fireworks and a laser show, live music, a fun fair, artisan markets, children’s entertainers and Wolfie
- Spectators seated in the East Stand
- Members: adult £13, junior 16 and under £5, family of two adults and two juniors £30, VIP adult £22, VIP child £10
- Non-members: adult £15, junior 16 and under £5, family £34, VIP adult £25, VIP child £10
- The family ticket was available in store or over the phone only

Two warnings. The club’s own timings list in that article is mislabelled: it reads “2025 Kit Launch: 7:00 PM” while the headline and body both say the 2026 home and away kits were unveiled that night. And the Warrington BID events site still carries a page titled “Fireworks at The Halliwell Jones Stadium” dated 4 November 2023, marked expired. Do not read that as this year’s date.
One more trap: lymm.uk’s round-up of local displays now lists the Halliwell Jones as “Saturday 1st November 2026, doors 17:30, display 19:30”. The club has not said that, the times are 2025’s, and 1 November 2026 is a Sunday, so treat it as last year’s line carried over. The page itself warns that its links “may not be to 2026 dates”.
The 2025 tickets went on sale on 1 October, and the Wolves play the Grand Final
on 3 October, so expect the 2026 announcement in early October, on sale

Spooky World, Thursday 5 and Friday 6 November
Spooky World on Stretton Road, WA4 4NW, the scare attraction at Apple Jacks farm, has put two bonfire nights on sale through its ticketing page: Thursday 5 November and Friday 6 November 2026. The ticket page says the site is open 5.30pm to 10.30pm, the bonfire is lit around 6pm and the fireworks start at 7.45pm, and asks people to arrive early to be in for the display. Its Spooky at Night scare event, aimed at ten to fifteen year olds, runs on the same nights. The organiser says it tries to keep the two apart but scare actors may be seen, and under-16s must be with an adult ticket holder. No personal fireworks or sparklers are allowed, and tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. One small discrepancy: the Friday ticket is headed 6.30pm to 11pm while its own notes say 5.30pm to 10.30pm, the same as Thursday; go by the 5.30pm opening.
Lymm Round Table, still TBC
Lymm Round Table has no 2026 date yet. The community site lymm.uk, which tracks it year to year, notes that the 2024 display was announced on 4 October, with Thelwall’s usually announced around the same time. (lymm.uk)
Lymm Round Table, Cherry Tree Primary School, Hardy Road, Lymm WA13 0NX. In 2025 it ran on Saturday 8 November: doors 6pm, a quieter children’s display at 6.45pm lasting about five minutes, main display at 8pm lasting about fifteen. Tickets went on sale around 4 October and sold out by about 3 November. The 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 events all sold out in advance too. (lymm.uk)
Just outside the borough, both on Friday 6 November
High Legh Park, Warrington Road, Knutsford, WA16 0WA, runs its fireworks night on Friday 6 November: doors 5pm, display 7pm, with a DJ, food stalls and rides. Tickets are £12 adult, £8 child, £32 family of two adults and two children, and parking must be pre-booked at £5 a car because spaces are limited. (High Legh Park)
The Cheshire Showground, Flittogate Lane, Tabley, WA16 0HJ, holds Fireworks Over The Showground the same night. Gates open at 4.30pm, the fireworks go up at 7.30pm and the evening finishes at 10.30pm. Booking online before midnight on 5 November saves 15%, children aged 5 and under go free and parking on site is free. (Royal Cheshire Show)
lymm.uk lists two more as date TBC that are worth watching if the bigger ones sell out: The Wheatsheaf, which does a silent display, and Bowdon Cricket Club, which is over the border in Trafford and also sells out in advance. (lymm.uk)
Getting there and parking
Gulliver’s World and the Cheshire Showground both have free onsite parking. High Legh Park charges £5 and wants it booked ahead. Partridge Lakes is on a country lane in Culcheth and its neighbours are the reason the display is quiet, so expect the same pressure on verges that Thelwall warns about.
