Kenyon Hall's pumpkin weekends and half term are sold out; weekday slots are £3.95. Spooky World, Fright Fiesta and Walton's Shocktoberfest, dates and prices.
Halloween 2026 is a Saturday, the last day of Warrington’s October half term, and the borough’s best known pumpkin patch had already sold every weekend and half term slot by early September. What is still bookable is below, with each organiser’s own dates and prices.
The quick answer
- Pumpkin picking: Kenyon Hall Farm at Croft is open every day until 31 October, £3.95 a person, booking essential. All weekend and half term dates are fully booked; weekdays and after-school slots are still available.
- The other pumpkin option: Spooky World’s Fun by Day at Apple Jacks farm, Stretton, includes one free pumpkin per ticket, £15.50 over 90cm, 10am to 4pm, open every day from 24 October to 1 November.
- On Halloween itself: Gulliver’s World’s Fright Fiesta is open 10.30am to 4pm, Spooky World runs its 16+ Scary at Night, and Walton Hall has an adults’ Shocktoberfest. Land of Lights is shut on 31 October.
Every date and price here was read from the organiser’s own website or ticket page on 4 October 2026.
Kenyon Hall Farm: weekends gone, weekdays open
Kenyon Hall Farm, Winwick Lane, Croft, WA3 7ED, says its Pumpkin Festival is “now open every day until 31st October”, with over 20,000 pumpkins and squashes in 50 varieties and new photo displays for 2026. (Kenyon Hall Farm Pumpkin Festival)
The line that matters is near the top of the page: “All weekend and half term dates are now fully booked. There is still good availability for mid-week dates throughout October, including after-school slots.” That has been the case since at least 6 September, when we first checked. There are no walk-ins.

Two ways round the sell-out. Ready-picked pumpkins are sold in the farm shop and indoor display without a ticket, so if you only need a pumpkin to carve you can still get one on a Saturday. And the farm’s family photo mini-shoots, booked separately, “guarantee you entry to the Pumpkin Festival even on sold out dates”. Carers attending only to support someone do not need their own ticket. The farm advises wellies even on dry days and opens in all weathers.
Spooky World Fun by Day: a pumpkin in the price
Apple Jacks Adventure Farm on Stretton Road becomes Spooky World’s Fun by Day in October. Its ticket page lists Sunday 4 October, the weekends of 10 and 11 and 17 and 18 October, then every day from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November, 10am to 4pm. Tickets are £15.50 for anyone over 90cm, under 90cm free, and each ticket comes with one free pumpkin. (Fun by Day tickets, Fun by Day)
It is pitched at four to eleven year olds and has no scare attractions, though the organiser warns costumed characters are on site, “some scarier than others”. There are inflatable drop slides and covered play areas, hay bale archery, a corn cannon and a tractor trailer ride. The quad karts and mini diggers take £1 coins, and in severe weather the farm says it will close and offer another date.
Spooky World after dark: two age bands
The scare attraction on the same farm, Stretton Road, WA4 4NW, runs two evening events through October, both 6.30pm to 11pm with last entry at 9pm. Dates are from its ticket listing. (Spooky World, tickets)
- Spooky at Night, for ages ten and over: Wednesday 14, Sunday 18, Thursday 22, Monday 26 and Thursday 29 October, then with the bonfire on 5 and 6 November.
- Scary at Night, strictly 16 and over with physical photo ID: 19 nights between 4 October and Sunday 1 November, including Halloween night. Entry is in 30 or 60 minute arrival slots between 6.30pm and 9pm and you can stay until 11pm.
Scary at Night tickets carry a £2 transaction fee each and are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. The ticket price itself is only shown at booking. The 2026 line-up adds a new attraction, Carnevil Inc., to The Institute, the Haunted Hayride, Deadman’s Creek, Slaughterhouse, The Haunted House and Channel Zero.
Halloweenville at Partridge Lakes: dates given, no tickets yet
Halloweenville, the family “spooky not scary” trail at Partridge Lakes, Glaziers Lane, Culcheth, WA3 4AQ, gives its dates in its own FAQ as 3 October to 1 November 2026. But as of 4 October its booking page offers only a mailing list, the site’s opening dates panel says “Coming Soon”, and Partridge Lakes’ own events page still asks people to “sign up to be the first to know”. Entry is by advance ticket only, with nothing sold at the gate, so it is not one to plan around until tickets are on sale. The organiser says this year adds two sensory sessions for children and adults with additional needs. (Halloweenville, Partridge Lakes)
Gulliver’s World: Fright Fiesta, open on the day
Gulliver’s World bills Fright Fiesta as running “10th Oct - 1st Nov 2026”, with a fancy dress street parade, Gilly’s Spooky Dance Party, Monster Mansion Mine and character meet and greets, and “tickets from £19”. (Fright Fiesta)
The park’s own opening calendar is narrower than that headline. It is open 10.30am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays 10, 11, 17 and 18 October, then every day from 24 to 31 October, closed on the weekdays before half term and closed on Sunday 1 November. Day tickets are £28 online in advance, £31 on the day, under 90cm free; the £19 is a from-price for early booking. (opening times and prices) Parking at the park is free.
Land of Lights: a Halloween week, but not Halloween
The lantern trail at Gulliver’s opens on Saturday 24 October and sells a Trick or Treat bucket upgrade, “from just £4.95pp”, for 24 to 31 October. Its calendar, though, has the trail closed on Saturday 31 October, so the Halloween nights in practice are 24 to 30 October, 5pm to 8.15pm (6pm on the first night), last entry 6.45pm. (Halloween at Land of Lights, opening times) Full dates, prices and the dog nights are on our Land of Lights Warrington page.
For adults on 31 October
Shocktoberfest, Walton Hall and Gardens. The Old Riding School becomes “a frightfully fun Bavarian beer hall” on Saturday 31 October, with the oompah band The Jager Maestros, DJ Andy Dee, food, games and fancy dress encouraged. There are two sessions, 12.30pm to 5pm and 6.30pm to 11.30pm, from £19.25, and the venue says spaces are limited. (Shocktoberfest) Walton charges for its car park.
Parr Hall. Lost in Music, a disco show, is on at 7.30pm on Saturday 31 October. (Culture Warrington what’s on)
Trick or treating in the town centre: nothing announced
In 2024 Golden Square ran trick or treating on Halloween from 10am to 2pm, with more than 40 shops taking part, according to Time Square’s round-up of the town’s Halloween that year. (Time Square) Nothing has been published for 2026 by Golden Square, Time Square or the Warrington BID, whose events listing runs only to 11 October as of 4 October. We will add it if it is announced.
Getting there
Kenyon Hall, Spooky World and Gulliver’s World all have their own car parks; Kenyon Hall’s and Gulliver’s are free. For the town centre, our parking in Warrington page lists which council car parks are free and which are not, and the roadworks and travel page has the closures, including the overnight swing bridge inspections in late October.
The school holiday dates, school by school, and the rest of half term week are on our October half term in Warrington page. Bonfire Night follows a week later: see Warrington fireworks and Bonfire Night.
